The Project Manager will lead the implementation of business system solutions for AMCS, working closely with both AMCS stakeholders and software partners
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful end to end delivery of Business System Implementation projects.
Provides guidance and direction to the project team to achieve stakeholder expectations, project cost, schedule and technical goals
Focused delivery of all aspects of project management including project scope definition, risk management, adaptable project scheduling, resource management, and consistent project documentation and reporting.
Must be results oriented and drive to ensure successful completion of projects on time, on budget and within the defined scope while leading through influence and with solid soft skills and tact.
Provide regular reporting to executive team and key stakeholders as required.
Audit, monitor and lead correction process to ensure project and resource data is maintained consistently in accordance with agreed standards and methodologies.
Escalate issues in an appropriate, timely, and tactful manner.
Actively participate in resolution of issues and conflicts, internally as well as with our software vendors and external consulting services.
Ensure that all projects are exceptionally well documented and meet all defined goals.
Engage in scoping and requirements gathering for new and existing projects as necessary.
Provide leadership to the project implementation team.
Be able to clearly understand and articulate project requirements and relate these back to the project delivery team.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business studies, Engineering, Finance.
3+ years Project Management experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are imperative, fluency in English is essential.
Experience and working knowledge of CRM, ERP and Customer Service platform implementations would be an advantage.
· Must have an understanding of project methodologies, waterfall, agile
· Strong leadership acumen with the ability to influence project teams without authority to keep projects on time and on budget
· Ability to analyse risk and determine appropriate course of action to mitigate/eliminate
