To support the continued growth of the AMCS business, we have a requirement for an Enterprise Transport Management Solutions Architect for our Professional Services business in EMEA
Our organisation is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and innovative Transport Management Solutions Architect/Consultant to join our team. Your main role will be to design, manage, and implement end-to-end transport management solutions to support our customers goals. You will work closely with our customers and Product Management teams to create solutions that optimize transport-related operations and processes, using AMCS technology to promote efficient and cost-effective transport management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement AMCS transport management systems and bottom-line-enhancing solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
Participate with teams to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations, ensuring their rollout complies with the leading industry practices.
Perform business analyses and architecture modeling to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transport management processes.
Engage actively with the Project Management Office (PMO), IT leadership, business units, and Product Management to align solutions with business strategies and technology standards.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technology changes in the transport and logistics industry and leverage this knowledge to improve business operations and processes.
Provide technical and architectural subject matter expertise to the teams, including communicating architectural decisions to stakeholders and providing support for system integration and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing transport management solutions in sizable organizations.
Extensive knowledge of Route Optmisation and related processes, including logistics and transport management.
A strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and large scale project execution.
Proficiency in enterprise architecture and business process modeling tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical terms.
Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar are a plus.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position, and the applicant should be ready for occasional travel as per project requirements. The role may demand flexible working hours to oversee system upgrades or troubleshoot any emergent issues.
