Job Overview


The Custom Solution Group / Custom Solution Engineering team provides several centralized development & deployment services supporting AMCS Platform implementations, including system integration, data migration, customization/branding of reports/printed documents, customer portals and weighbridge scale configuration.


Job Description


This role is primarily to support customer projects based in the EMEA, working within the Custom Solutions Engineering team, developing functionality around the digital engagements and integrations i.e. web-portals for the end-customer users, weighbridge scale configuration & setup, extensible development for our enterprise customers (Waste & recycling companies, regions or lines of business).The role may also encompass minor changes to reports built in Exago & SSRS.

The role would also require the following Professional Services ‘Core Competencies’ to be demonstrated; Communication, Planning, Relationship Building and Problem Solving.


Qualifications/Experience


• Bachelors or Masters in Information Systems/Computer Science/Software Engineering or Equivalent

• Skills in the following front-end/UI development tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and familiarity with web Content Management Software, such as Umbraco and Word Press.

• Development experience in C#.NET, API Integrations, Angular UI development and T-SQL

• Strong understanding .NET Framework and Javascript.

• Experience with SQL Service databases and T-SQL

• Collaborate using Git for version control and utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.

• Minimum 1 year’s work experience in building/customizing web pages, managing content, building applications into third party integration.


Responsibilities


• Portal Development

o Configure & customize the customer portal and other digital engagement products.

o Work on premier services like UX, Web design and consultation.

o Ensure portal is tested and handed over to the customer.

o Configuration process includes basic set up, payments and branding.

o Prepare end user and technical user documentation for digital engagement products.

• Weighbridge Scale Configuration (Scale Setup)

o Configure & customize the customer weighbridge scales and integrations with other related third-party serial/IP products.

o Ensure weighbridge scale software is tested and handed over to the customer in a functional capacity.

• Extensibile Plug-In development

o Development of backend code (Plugins) in C#.NET for the Workflow™ product allowing for core product to be customised within regions, lines of business and specific customer requirements.

o Design and develop front end screens using Angular – desirable.

• SQL

o Proficient in T-SQL including stored procedures, functions and query optimization.

o Excellent grasp of SSIS & SSAS

• Reporting (Optional)

o Ability to understand and develop SSRS reports.

o Knowledge of Exago reporting

• Identify any training needs for customers and produce operation documents to address these issues.

• Perform detailed analysis of customer support issues and where required, work closely with the AMCS development team in providing root cause analysis.

• Capturing of customer requirements to feed into the AMCS Development Roadmap.

• Provide workshop/demos on the frontend/Backend functionalities with customer.

• Provide documentation on Configuration/Process/Solutions/Testcases.

• Organize meetings to discuss UAT/Hyper-care issues internally and with customers.

• Track/Triage the issues and communicate with various stakeholders.
