Our company is a fast growing SaaS Billing Provider in the utilities and telco space which is now moving rapidly into an expanding product roadmap. The aim of the product suite is to stay a step ahead of the market and do things that slow moving companies can't.

We're looking for a senior level Java developer to join our Utilities team. We have a fantastic work culture with other talented people across the globe.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver code with lateral thinking and problem solving

• Work with Australian Telecommunications market integration

• Development and review of ongoing maintenance work, including change requests and data fixing

• Ensure that code developed is unit tested, performant and maintainable

• Proficient in developing applications using Web Application Framework Struts

• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining Multi-Threaded applications with good PDF library knowledge

The successful new candidate will demonstrate

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Strong skills in Java software engineering

• Proven history delivering elegant and high quality code as Senior Developer/Engineer for minimum of 3 years

• Work with any SQL technology (MySQL, SQL server and etc.) for a minimum of 3 years

• Proven history developing complex stored procedures, functions, optimisation & query tuning, integrating queries with other applications

• Data fixing in any SQL technology, MySQL, SQL server etc.

• Code versioning experience (i.e. CVS, Git or SVN)

Desirable additional skills/experience

• Experience coupling Java with other technologies, such as Angular portals written by other developers

• Understanding object oriented programming

• Previous work designing databases, tables, structures, creating triggers for use in automation.
