Product Owner/BA

The Product Management team at AMCS drives the product strategy for AMCS Group the leading provider of a comprehensive ERP suite with fully integrated on-board vehicle technology for the solid waste and recycling industries. 

You will need to have a good understanding of the technology stack, the solid waste and recycling industry processes.  The primary responsibilities will be to design solutions for business requirements.In this role, you will:

·         Be responsible for the product definition of core changes in the lines of business outlined above.

·         Collaborate with internal development, delivery, infrastructure, and product teams to understand their requirements and priorities

·         Write detailed feature specifications based on requirements

·         Understand and align with the technical architecture within the AMCS product stack.

·         Collaborate with 3rd party vendors, internal engineering and delivery teams through the design, development, testing, product release, and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery

·         Define a product roadmap and determine requirements for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture and business needs

About You

·         As a product owner in this space it is important to have a reasonable understanding of operations (e.g. business processes, product development life cycle, agile development processes, system monitoring, deployment)

·         Ability to clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize enhancement requests

·         Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience with scrum and other agile development methods

·         Experience in AMCS technology stack if possible

·         3+ years of product management, consulting, or engineering experience

·         Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
