Manager of Product Operations
Manager of Product Operations is an important role on the Product team, it requires a person who is a lead organizer, a talented program manager, and an excellent communicator. Reporting to the Head of Product Operations and Strategy, your primary responsibilities are ensuring that the product development process is efficient and effective, and providing the data to help product managers determine if their products are meeting customer needs and expectations. You'll be a pivotal player within the product organization and drive process change and continuous improvement. This is an individual contributor role.
More About Your TeamProduct Organization consists of Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers and Analysts. They work collaboratively in scrum cross-functional teams of engineers, QAs, and engineering managers.They follow different processes and contribute to multiple strategic initiatives that you will coordinate.What You Will Be Responsible For
Managing product releases: You will be responsible for managing the release of new products and features, including coordinating launch activities and ensuring that everything is ready for launch.
Defining and implementing product development processes: You will be responsible for defining and implementing the product development process, from ideation to launch. This includes working with product managers and cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps, prioritize features, and create timelines.
Data visualization: developing and evolving product management dashboards and data visualization helping the product team understand product quality, customer satisfaction, team performance and product adoption, and retention.
Monitoring product performance: You will be responsible for monitoring product performance metrics such as sales, customer satisfaction, and usage data to identify areas for improvement and optimize product performance.
Coordinating cross-functional teams: You will work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.
Communicating with stakeholders: You will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers, to ensure that everyone is up-to-date on product development and performance.
Ensuring product quality: You will be responsible for ensuring that the product is high quality and meets customer expectations. This may involve working with the engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and fix issues.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Work closely with Product Leadership and Engineering Management to understand the priorities and plan to bring these to fulfilment.
Set Product leadership rhythms for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Coordinate planning across the Product team in collaboration with Engineering and Design teams.
Manage strategic product initiatives advancing both the goal clarity and project execution
Facilitate effective meetings with product leadership including building agendas, capturing key insights, and tracking action items to completion.
Support development of presentation content for executive team, board, and company town hall meetings
Ensure Product processes are documented, kept relevant and stored in the appropriate location.
Develop guide to tooling, particularly using Product Board effectively across the Business Units.
You will achieve your best if you have
Five years of product management experience, at least 2+ of them in a SaaS company
Effective program management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead teams
Comfortable working with ambiguity and cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders who do not report directly to you
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision, including complex initiatives
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area
Masters in Product Management or similar discipline would be a plus
