Job Title: Sustainability and ESG Specialist - onsite 3 days per week minimum at our Limerick HQ


Job Description:

AMCS is seeking a dedicated Graduate Sustainability and ESG Specialist to support our sustainability strategy. This role will report directly to the Head of Sustainability and will be instrumental in driving our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee ESG reporting, manage sustainability initiatives, and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. ESG Reporting and Data Analysis: Support the preparation of ESG reports and collect, analyze, and track sustainability data to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

  2. Sustainability Initiative Coordination: Assist in the coordination and implementation of sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with AMCS's sustainability objectives, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders to promote these efforts.

  3. Compliance and Risk Support: Monitor compliance with sustainability regulations and assist in managing associated risks.

  4. Training and Policy Development: Help design and deliver training programs for employees on sustainability practices and support the development and implementation of sustainability policies.

  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to integrate sustainability principles into business operations effectively.


Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background: A degree or Masters in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: No minimum experience required in sustainability, ESG reporting, or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, and regulatory requirements, would be beneficial but not essential

  • Attributes: Passionate about sustainability, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
