The role will be responsible in providing support to the finance team assisting with a range of administrative and financial tasks to ensure the smooth running of our services and for Payroll activity across several of our international subsidiaries.

This role will be based in AMCS Group Cebu Philippines and reports to the Finance Manager based in Ireland.


Key responsibilities of the position are as follows:

  • Assisting with month end close, posting monthly payroll journals and booking accruals.

  • Producing month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of the financial results.

  • Assisting in balance sheet reconciliation

  • Respond to & resolving queries on a timely basis from the business.

  • Working closely with the Auditors during year end audit.

  • Other ad hoc finance items, approval of purchase order, approval of employee expenses etc.

  • Liaise with Payroll & HR to understand the nature of the expense and to ensure costs are posted correctly.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Personal characteristics

  • CPA Licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under time constraints.

  • Must be comfortable working to tight deadlines which will involve dealing with people across the entire organisation.  

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Extensive working knowledge of accounting systems are essential (knowledge of NetSuite would be advantageous, but not essential).

  • Employee will hold confidential information as part of the role and must exercise a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others.
