Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger activities, bi-monthly payroll processing.

  • Review financial statements and reports, including monthly and annual statements.

  • Lead the monthly financial closing process, coordinating with finance teams in Cebu to ensure accuracy.

  • Oversee the budgeting process for the Cebu sites, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for long-term financial planning and strategy.

  • Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to support business development.

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the Site Lead in presenting financial data to executives and stakeholders, providing strategic insights.

  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.

  • Lead and motivate finance team members by setting clear roles and expectations and providing constructive feedback.

  • Equip the team with the necessary tools and technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Develop and review policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting practices.

  • Expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger activities, payroll processing and tax compliance.

  • Ability to oversee financial operations, including tax reporting and financial statement preparation.

  • Capability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Experienced in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

  • Expertise in developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and tracking variances.

  • Ability to support long-term financial planning and strategy development.

  • Skilled in ensuring compliance with legal standards and mitigating financial risks.

  • Meticulous in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Philippine accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.
