Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger activities, bi-monthly payroll processing.
Review financial statements and reports, including monthly and annual statements.
Lead the monthly financial closing process, coordinating with finance teams in Cebu to ensure accuracy.
Oversee the budgeting process for the Cebu sites, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Provide insights and recommendations for long-term financial planning and strategy.
Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to support business development.
Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Support the Site Lead in presenting financial data to executives and stakeholders, providing strategic insights.
Monitor and analyse financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
Lead and motivate finance team members by setting clear roles and expectations and providing constructive feedback.
Equip the team with the necessary tools and technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Develop and review policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting practices.
Expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger activities, payroll processing and tax compliance.
Ability to oversee financial operations, including tax reporting and financial statement preparation.
Capability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Experienced in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Expertise in developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and tracking variances.
Ability to support long-term financial planning and strategy development.
Skilled in ensuring compliance with legal standards and mitigating financial risks.
Meticulous in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
Comprehensive understanding of Philippine accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.
