Software Developer for Route Optimization and Planning Systems
Would you like to use your technical expertise in operations research to reduce the environmental
impact of truck transportation all over the world? Are you interested in transforming complex
problems into comprehensible and well performing IT solutions and are you passionate about
developing quality software built to last? We seek a strong problem solver with experience in
operations research to work as a software developer on our core engine.

We Offer
As a member of the Transport Development Unit within AMCS you will be working closely with a
team of highly skilled and dedicated software engineers; 15 here in the Copenhagen office and an
additional 20 across the globe. You will be coding on existing and new features and contributing to
driving our products forward.
As part of the core engine team you will work primarily with C++.
We work in a flat structure with a high level of personal responsibility. We use each other for
continuous support and growth in the belief that this is how we find the best solutions. We work
agile and focus on good analysis, specifications and tests.

We Seek
Someone who can take a complex problem, structure it and convert it into well performing algorithms. As a candidate, we expect you to
Have a technical background with a master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
Have experience with operations research and metaheuristics.
Have a strong interest in programming and experience with C++ or C#.
Are excited to work with a complex solution consisting of more than 1.5 million lines of code.
Have perseverance; want to get to the core of a problem and like to take things apart to understand how everything is connected and how it works.
